There are two ways to receive calls to your SendHub phone number:
-
Answer the call inside the browser
-
Set up call forwarding to call any other phone number you control
Note: If you would like to disable all calls to prevent people from calling you at your SendHub phone number:
-
Navigate to the “My Settings” menu by clicking on the gear icon in the upper right corner
-
Scroll to “Phone Settings”
-
Select the button next to “Disable all calls.” (You can undo this at any time by selecting any of the other options).
Answering phone calls inside your browser
When you have SendHub open in your browser and someone calls your SendHub number, you'll hear a tone and a small box with the caller's info will appear on the left side of the screen.
To answer the call, press the green "Accept" button. To reject the call, pressing the red "Decline" button. This will send the caller to your voicemail.
Note 1: If the caller is in your contact list, you'll see their name. If not, you'll just see the phone number that the call is coming from.
Note 2: You can also set up email notifications for missed calls and voicemails. To do this, click the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen, navigate to “My Settings” >> “Email Settings, checking the box next to “Enable Email Notifications", and entering your email address.
Setting up call forwarding
You can also set up SendHub to forward calls that come in to your SendHub number to any phone number that you control.
To set up call forwarding:
Go to your "Account Settings" by clicking the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen and selecting "My Settings."
-
Scroll down to the "Phone Settings" section and look for the "Devices" sub-section.
-
If you'd like to forward calls to the mobile phone number you used to sign up for SendHub, click the box next to that number.
-
If you'd like to add another phone number to receive calls, click the "Add New Number" link. You'll have to confirm that you control this phone number, and can do this with either a verification text message or phone call.
Once call forwarding is set up and turned on, any calls that come to your SendHub virtual phone number will be sent to your forwarding number(s).
Note 1: It's not required to have "Web " selected in order for calls to be forwarded to your selected device(s).
Note 2: Forwarding to a cell phone which is turned off will cause any incoming calls to your SendHub line to go to that cell phone's voicemail.
Note 3: SendHub's voicemail picks up the call after 30 seconds. When forwarding, if any of your selected device's voicemail picks up the call first, that SendHub call will go to that line's voicemail.
